Vines sometimes are remixed by people other than their creators to become small memes. They can be the original vine with different audio added, or the vine's audio over a different video, re-contextualizing the original vine into something different. I got the idea to make this video from another remix of the same vine I found on Tumblr of the vine's audio over a scene from Legend of Korra. After searching though the Korra video proved unrecoverable due to Tumblr's dysfunctional search engine and the lack of tags on the video. I made my video using Vine user Nut's vine, "white girl trying to remember the day she was born" and put it over a scene from an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Future Imperfect".
