The original photo was posted to reddit by a user, MaryjaneBrewington in a post named “She tells the worst jokes” on June 25th, 2012. The same day the first baby image was posted to Reddit which had the caption “This guy, I love this guy” Within a week, the post received over 6,600 up votes and 100 comments. I think it gained popularity because it is easy to use a variety of funny phrases on it, just like all other types of memes.

I think it is effective because it is showing reasons why you don't have to go out and get food, when someone can bring it to you.
