The facial expression originated from an Asian comic that was printed in English in June of 200. The meme started on Tumblr. It had the figure as well as the words "I TXT U... Y U NO TXT BACK" that became viral. Then people took that same face and stick figure body and made their own versions of it with their own words and even "costumes"
