The origin of this meme is from the 1965 animated century comic where batman thinks super man is responsible for his parents death. The first parody of this panel was on SFW Chan where batman slaps robin screaming my parents are dead after robin says what are your parents getting you for christmas? The panel was escalated from there. Later in 2012 the Panel was alter removing the bubbles and making more like the popular internet memes. I like this meme because every one needs to be slapped once in a while. You can make robin represent any one person or group of people, an idea, or an opinion.
